My name is Laurel and I have been working in animal hospitals since 1999. I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a sheep farm in Whitehall, NY. I moved down to New Paltz where I went to college and received a B.A. in Psychology. I have also taken some Veterinary Technology classes from SUNY Ulster. While I was attending New Paltz, I started my first animal hospital job and have been working in the field ever since. I have held every position from kennel help to veterinary assistant and now manage Rondout Valley Veterinary Associates. I love my work and being able to help pet owners and their furry family members live a happy and healthy life together.
Hello! My name is Shondelle. I joined the RVVA team in Sept. of 2005. I graduated from Cedar Valley College with an associate's degree in applied science focusing on Veterinary Technology and became a licensed veterinary technician. I am currently working on a certification in canine rehabilitation (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee. I have been in the animal care field for almost 30 years and love it! I enjoy walking in our woods with my son, husband and 2 dogs to relax. We share our home with 2 dogs, 2 cats, a snake and a fish.
My name is Denise. I work as a receptionist. Working here keeps me closer to animals which I love.
Hi, my name is Amanda G. and I have been with Rondout Valley Vets since October 2007. This is much more than just a job for me, it's my passion and I love my job. I have grown up with animals and have always known that I would make a career out of working with them. I currently have two cats named Milo and Mali; one dog named Peter; three goats, Chloe, Fritzy, Jeremiah and one horse, Kissimmee Kidd. My animals are part of my family so I understand how important your pets are to you. You will see me working up at the front desk as a receptionist and also as a veterinary assistant, one may say I'm a woman with many hats. My goal here is to make sure that you and your pets feel completely welcome and are well taken care of. So, I look forward to seeing you soon.
