Staff Trainings
November 2014

We believe in the entire experience at Rondout Valley Veterinary Associates. This means we not only focus on the medicine and services that we offer but the manner in which we provide those services. We are currently enrolled in Dr. Sophia Yin's low stress handling certification. Once complete we will be one of a handful of practices in the country that have completed this training.  This extra training teaches the staff and doctors alike in proper low-stress handling techniques so your pet has a better experience in our office whether it be a nail trim or blood draw for diagnostics. The more pleasant an experience is for your pet the easier the trip will be for you both the next time around. This involves many cookies, snacks, treats, whatever they may be called in your household, so please let us know when you arrive if your pet has any food allergies because we LOVE handing out goodies!

Construction of an Addition
November 2014

If you have driven by the office lately you have noticed that we are currently under construction. We are very pleased and excited to announce that the office is undergoing an addition to allow us to provide a designated area for more involved rehabilitation, laser therapy, and behavior medicine at this location. One of our goals is to make Rondout Valley Veterinary Associates and Rondout Valley Rehabilitation Medicine a comprehensive location to offer MANY services from medicine, to behavior modification, and even daycare services once fully operational. Keep an eye out for future announcements as we expect to be operating in this new space within the next few months.
