COVID-19 Policies & Updates

Thank you all for your continued patience and support during this difficult time. We wish you all happiness and continued health. We are pleased to announce that Stage 1 Reopening allows us to perform all clinic services, and we have returned to our regular business hours, including evenings.

Although reopening allows us to perform all routine services, we must continue to follow the guidelines of New York State and the CDC. We know this is difficult and cumbersome, but your continued cooperation and understanding of our procedures will keep everyone medically safe and allow us to provide comprehensive services in as timely a manner as possible under the circumstances.
All our services are still provided with curbside pickup and return. We ask that you please wear a face covering whenever you are in sight of one of our staff members. Our assistant or technician will then take your pet into the building for examination and treatment. Our staff have been instructed to politely refuse to approach closer than 6 feet any person not wearing a face mask. This policy protects both you and our staff so we can continue to safely serve you.

Summer has finally arrived so please be safe in the heat. While you are waiting for us to collect your pet’s medical history and bring your pet inside, please stay in your air-conditioned vehicle. Please do not exercise your pet outside in the heat while waiting, and please do not place cats or small dogs in carriers onto the hot asphalt of the parking lot. If your car does not have air-conditioning, please inform the staff right away so that we can be aware and bring them into the building as soon as possible.

When you arrive please call us by cell phone. Once your pet is in the building, please be available on your cellphone at all times. This allows us to ask more pertinent questions or recommend necessary treatments efficiently. It is imperative that we are able to reach you and share the doctor’s findings, treating your pet in a timely manner. If we are unable to reach you we may have to begin to treat the
next patient, and this will extend your wait time until your pet’s return. We do also ask all pet owners to wait in the parking lot for the entirety of their pet’s visit.

Again, we are extremely appreciative of your cooperation and cheerful support while we navigate these times together. Our partnership provides your pet the utmost care under difficult circumstances. We look forward to the day when you and your pet are able to be face-to-face indoors with us again as in former times.

Yours truly,
The Doctors and Staff
