Amber grew up in Kerhonkson. Her affinity for animals was encouraged by the dogs, cats, and chickens her family had while growing up. Her short time working at Rondout Valley Veterinary Associates not only solidified that passion but gave her the ability to be a part of helping animals as well as the human-animal bond as a result.
Amber is currently completing a degree in math and science at SUNY Ulster. She plans to move on to a biology related B.A. and to continue obtaining invaluable animal and veterinary experience. In her free time she enjoys drawing, reading, hiking, and spending time with her cat Raina.
